Throughout this year’s FTC season, The Electronovas have formed a meaningful partnership with Just Jerseys, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that stands out as one of the largest youth-led organizations in Virginia. This collaboration is not merely a transactional relationship; rather, it embodies a shared commitment to empowering young individuals by providing them with essential resources. Together, we have embarked on an ambitious initiative aimed at distributing athletic uniforms and custom STEM kits to children across eight different countries, reaching a diverse array of communities and inspiring youth on a global scale. This initiative is meticulously designed to promote both physical activity and STEM education, recognizing the importance of a holistic approach to youth development. By combining sports and educational tools, we are fostering an environment where children can thrive both physically and intellectually.

During the offseason, our dedicated team focused on the critical tasks of developing, prototyping, and creating these STEM kits. These kits are not just simple educational tools; they include a wide range of components that allow children to build everything from basic to advanced Arduino circuits. The inclusion of Arduino technology is particularly significant, as it introduces young minds to the world of programming and electronics, bridging the gap between theory and practical application. Each kit is carefully crafted to enhance children’s problem-solving skills, foster creativity, and inspire a lasting passion for STEM disciplines. By engaging with these kits, children are encouraged to think critically and innovatively, skills that are essential in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. Moreover, while promoting STEM education, we are also encouraging healthy habits by integrating physical activity through the athletic uniforms provided, which serve to motivate children to participate in sports and stay active.

To further support this initiative and ensure that the children gain the maximum benefit from the STEM kits, we will be offering comprehensive STEM classes. These classes are designed to teach children not only how to assemble and use the kits but also to understand the underlying principles of the technology they are working with. By providing an engaging and hands-on learning experience, we aim to create an interactive environment where students can collaborate, share ideas, and build their confidence in their abilities. Our commitment to education goes beyond mere distribution; we want to ensure that every child has the opportunity to explore, experiment, and discover the wonders of STEM in a supportive setting. In February 2025, we are excited to announce that we plan to debut our STEM kits globally, marking a significant milestone in our efforts to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders in technology and science.
